AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation's final Downtown Trick or Treat will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Auburn. College Street (from Thach to Tichenor avenues) and Magnolia Avenue (from Wright to Gay streets) will close at 4 p.m. and reopen after the event around 9 p.m.

To promote the safest environment for all event attendees, all vehicles parked in on-street parking within the event perimeter must be removed by 5 p.m. All vehicles remaining after 5 p.m. will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking in the area will be gradually coned off starting at 3 p.m. to reduce the need for towing.

Downtown visitors are encouraged to park in the Wright Street Parking Deck, the Burton Street Parking Deck, the East Glenn Avenue Lot and Felton Little Park. Find more information about downtown parking at auburnal.gov/downtown-parking.

Heavy traffic is expected near the event area. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
